Obama Free Homaidan

Obama Free Homaidan is a Saudi social campaign that started on Facebook, with more than 11000 members. The idea started by Mr. Najeeb Al-Zamil (check official spelling) through an article he wrote on Al-Eqtisadiya (check spelling) local newspaper. The initiative was carried on, created and managed by Saudi youth.

The short film "Obama Free Homaidan"is an open letter from the Saudi people to the US President Barack Hussein Obama. It is concerned about delivering the Saudi point of view regarding Homaidan Al-Torki's issue. The goal is to be an initiator and a catalyst for a presidential pardon in favor of Homaidan Al-Torki.

Great flash and a great book!

Mahatma Gandhi, speaking on the character of Muhammad, says in (Young India):
"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today's undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind....I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."

Prof. C. Snouck Hurgronje Has the following to say:
"The league of nations founded by the prophet of Islam put the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such universal foundations as to show candle

to other nations." He continues: "The fact is that no nation of the world can show a parallel to what Islam has done towards the realization of the idea of the League of Nations.”

Prof. Ramakrishna Rao says:
"The personality of Muhammad, it is most difficult to get into the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes! There is Muhammad, the Prophet. There is Muhammad, the Warrior; Muhammad, the Businessman; Muhammad, the Statesman; Muhammad, the Orator; Muhammad, the Reformer; Muhammad, the Refuge of Orphans; Muhammad, the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad, the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad, the Judge; Muhammad, the Saint. All in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is alike a hero."

George Bernard Shaw says:
“If a man like Muhamed were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness.

10 thoughts for 2006

Number 10
Life is sexually transmitted.

Number 9
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate
at which one can die .

Number 8
Men have two emotions: Hungry and Horny. If you see him
Without an erection, make him a sandwich.

Number 7
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a
Person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

Number 6
Some people are like a Slinky.....not really good for
Anything, but you still can't help but smile
when you shove them down the stairs.

Number 5
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday,
lying in hospitals dying of nothing.

Number 4
All of us could take a lesson from the weather.
It pays no attention to criticism.

Number 3
Why does a slight tax increase cost you two hundred dollars
And a substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents?

Number 2
In the 60s,! people took acid to make the world weird.
Now The world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

AND THE NUMBER 1 THOUGHT FOR 2006:
We know exactly where one cow with Mad-cow-disease is located among
the millions and millions of cows in America but we haven't got a clue
as to where thousands of illegal immigrants and
terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of
Agriculture in charge of immigration

Great people talk about ideas,
Average people talk about things,
Small people talk about others...

The Spanish Computer

A Spanish teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike
English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

"House" for instance, is feminine: "la casa."

"Pencil," however, is masculine: "el lapiz."

A student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?"

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two
groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether

"computer" should be a masculine or a feminine noun.

Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

T he men's group decided that "computer" should definitely be of the
feminine gender ("la computadora"), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is
incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for
possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending
half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine
("el computador"), because:

1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they
ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a
little longer, you could have gotten a better model.

The women won

Caricatures of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) Published in Jyllands-Posten Newspaper

Here is a link for the caricatures published in Jyllands-Posten newspaper in Denmark last September. Not many were aware of it then, but it has come under the international attention a few days ago when they were republished in the Norwegian Magazinet.

http://www.newspaperindex.com/blog/2005/12/10/un-to-investigate-jyllands-posten-racism/

History of the issue:

http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCulture.asp?Page=%5CCulture%5Carchive%5C200601%5CCUL20060123a.html

An opinions article about it from Al-Hayat newspaper

Press Release from the Organization of Islamic Conferences:

http://www.oic-oci.org/press/english/2006/January%202006/denemark-2.htm

As always, individuals have taken steps in attempt resolve the issue. Some have chosen to boycott Danish products (most people are not yet aware that the Norwegian magazine has re-published them), while others decided to start and/or sign online petitions. So far, this is the most successful (directed towards Vebjoern Selbekk, editor of Magazinet):

*** If you do decide to sign this particular one, please PAY ATTENTION TO THE WORDING. At first glance, it may seem to be an innocent enough, strong, defensive statement, but the connotations of “the campaign of defamation and distortion against Islam will only provoke Muslims into violence and conflicts, which is not in the interest of any nation” and that “we forewarn you about major consequences” is not something to be thrown about these days.***

Another petition that makes a stronger statement is:

Please take the time to read and sign the petition. It is the least you can do.

Smart Ass!

A woman decides to have a face-lift, for her birthday. She spends $5000,
and feels pretty good about the results.

On her way home, she stops at a newsstand to buy a newspaper. Before
leaving she says to the clerk, "I hope you don't mind my asking, but

how old do you think I am?" "About 32," is the reply. "Nope! I'm exactly
47," the woman says happily.

A little while later, she goes into McDonald's, and asks the counter girl,
the very same question. The girl replies, "I guess about 29." The woman
replies, "Nope, I'm 47."

Now she's feeling really good, about herself She stops in drugstore, on her
way down the street. She! goes up to the counter, to get some mints, and
asks the clerk, this burning question. The
clerk responds, "Oh, I'd say 30. Again she proudly responds, "I am 47, but
thank you."

While waiting, for the bus to go home, she asks an old man, waiting next to
her, the same question. He replies, "Lady, I'm 78, and my eye sight is
going. Although, when I was young, there was a sure way, to tell how old a
woman was. It sounds very forward, but it requires you, to let me, put my
hands under your bra. Then I can tell you EXACTLY how old you are."

They wait in silence on the empty street, until curiosity gets the best of
her. She finally blurts out, "What the heck, go ahead." He slips both of
his hands, she says, "Okay, okay,...how old am I?" He removes his hands and
says, "Madam, you are 47.

Stunned and amazed, the woman says, "Why, that's incredible, how could you
tell? "The old
man replies, "Promise you won't hit me?" "I promise I won't." she says. He
replies, "I was behind you in line at McDonald's."

Penelope Cruz VS Shannyn Sossamon

I received a comment from Moi about Penelope Cruz saying:
"You guys are disgusting. She looks like a shriveled up old woman... Get Shannon Sossamon on there, then we'll talk!"

Therefore, this is what askmen.com said about them:
You judge!

Penelope Cruz

Shannyn Sossamon

There's a reason why Penelope Cruz is nicknamed the "Spanish
Enchantress" and the "Madonna of Madrid" outside of her native land.
Gorgeous, sultry and gifted, she has paid her dues and climbed her way
from supporting actress to feature player.

She has a knack for disregarding gossip
and focusing her energy on her career and personal happiness instead. Of
course, the more famous she got the more gossip there was, but she was
strong enough to not let it bother her.

Like Sophia Loren before her, Penelope is
proof that American audiences can easily adopt foreign stars as their
own personal sweetheart if they have what it takes. With the much
publicized Cruise-Cruz relationship well behind her, Penelope is set to
be famous in her own right.

why we like her?

As Spanish exports go, Penelope Cruz is certainly among the hottest.
She went from talented European actress to Hollywood superstar without
sacrificing her integrity on the way. And she ain't half bad to look at
either...

why is she famous?

Aside from having been romantically linked to some of the biggest
actors in Hollywood, Penelope has appeared in a number of successful
films such as All About My Mother (1999), Blow (2001), Vanilla Sky
(2001), and Gothika (2003).

Shannyn Sossamon is the
classic example of a free spirit willing to go wherever life may take
her. That irrepressible attitude has kept her going from Honolulu to
Hollywood: So when a one-in-a-million discovery led to her starring role
in 2001's A Knight's Tale, the young dancer-turned-actress just
took it in stride. In fact, when stardom no longer appealed to her,
Sossamon gave it up for a time, until her interest in acting was renewed
by more interesting roles, such as her turn in 2002's The Rules of
Attraction
.

But such an approach to life is in keeping with Shannyn's bohemian
personality. A strong interest in the arts, from dancing and acting to
photography, writing and music, means that Sossamon finds contentment in
any number of media, and can handle just about anything -- just don't
expect this party girl to handle punching a timecard.

So where will Sossamon's career take her next? With her feisty
unpredictability, no one can say for sure. But whatever happens,
whatever new opportunities arise, we can rest assured that Shannyn's
future is in the firm grip of only one person: Shannyn Sossamon herself.

why we like her?

Shannyn Sossamon has a great attitude about her newfound fame, and
decided to be an actress not for the attention, but for the enjoyment of
it -- and if the fun is gone, she'll quit in a heartbeat. She only seems
to conform when conformity just so happens to be what she wants to do.

why is she famous?

Between DJing and other odd jobs in Los Angeles, Shannyn managed to land
the part of Lady Jocelyn; the love interest in 2001's quasi-medieval
hit, A Knight's Tale. Since then, she's had notable roles in movies like
40 Days and 40 Nights and The Rules of Attraction.

Everything since January 20, 2005

We captured Nemo! He is back to the Ezzbah. He had an injury so Mohammed and Mansor FlaFil took him to a Vet and they preformed a surgery on his left hand so he doesnt limp anymore...
His is back and happy in the Ezzbah but he is too umm sexually aroused all the time! That pussy needs pussy!
Did that just sound wrong?!
Anyway, Nemo ran away from the Ezzbah to find some love and came back. He came back with a big smile and his color got darker.. Yes he was very dirty!
Man Im afraid he catch some Cat STD! Is there a STD for cats?!
We have two bitchs in the Ezzbah so why that Fritz go out side for street pussies?! I think it because male cats cant do female dogs.

Happy Eid Ul-Adha!

Today is Eid Ul-Adha Day!
Im all alone here in Riyadh my parents in Jalajil to spend Eid there.
Hisham went to Skakah and Nael went to Egypt, however Mohammed is spending Eid in Riyadh.

I tell you some thing… I like it when I am home alone… I'm not gonna have a party or something! It's just cool…

If you don't know what is Eid Ul-Adha I will tell you little about it…

Although only the pilgrims in Makkah can participate in the Hajj fully, all the other Muslims in the world join with them by celebrating Eid Ul-Adha, or "Celebration of Sacrifice." On the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar, Muslims around the world celebrate this feast of commitment, obedience and self-sacrifice to Allah. They wear their nicest clothing and attend Salatul-Eid (Eid Prayer) in the morning. This is followed by a short sermon, after which everyone socializes. Next, people visit each other's homes and partake in festive meals with special dishes, beverages, and desserts. Children receive gifts and sweets on this happy occasion. In addition, like the pilgrims in Makkah, the Muslims, who can afford to do so, usually sheep, as a symbol of Ibrahim's (PBUH) sacrifice. The meat is distributed for consumption to family, friends, and to the poor and needy.

I found Nemo!

I did not have internet for the past 4 days I felt so addictive to it, I did a lot of stuff that I wanted to do for a long time... I think it was useful I really realized that I must be offline more than being online.

This afternoon on my way to the office there was some road constructions on the office street so I had to take another way to the office, that other street pass by the Ezzbah.
When I passed by the Ezzbah I saw NEMO! I saw him on top of a trashcan!
He was dirty and he was limping! I was on an important phone call when I saw him, I stopped my car next to the trashcan and he looked at me, as if he was waiting for me to call him or something. He jumped on the neighbors wall so I got off from the car still talking on the phone... I aimed my mobile to him and took this picture:

Then after posing to the camera, he jumped to the neighbors house....

I miss that cat!
